Do & Don’t

All the tourist and Visitors should follow of these customs of Myanmar.
Here are the basics.
When visiting a Buddhist sight, don’t wear shoes, socks, shorts, short skirts or have exposed shoulders.
Don’t touch somebody on the head. (Including a child)
Don’t point your feet at anybody or anything.
When shaking hands or handing over something, do so with your right hand, while touching your right elbow with your left hand.
Don’t step over somebody who is sitting or lying on the floor ( Such as on a boat deck).
Don’t take photo for the police stations, military bases and any Embassy.
Don’t give any money or sweet candy, and such as ballpoints. Because of causing spoils for the children
Don’t photo of the uniform men and women or any labored persons on the street.
